Mashed Cauliflower

Cauliflower can replace, or compliment, potatoes as a delicious and versatile supportive food for gut and metabolic health. Full of vitamins B6 for calming, C for immunity, K for bone health, and minerals like potassium and manganese. Ghee butter and cauliflower nourish the colon with post biotics, with ghee adding vitamin E to the mix for more antioxidants.

Ingredients

Cauliflower florets
fresh Garlic
Ghee, grass fed butter
Milk of choice
sea Salt
black Pepper
fresh herbs such as Rosemary and Thyme

Method

We like to steam cauliflower. Cover the florets and steam until very soft. Drain on paper towels to remove excess water.
Meanwhile, heat one tablespoon of ghee over medium heat, add minced garlic, sauté and set aside.
Mash the cauliflower well, add the sautéed garlic, milk, salt and pepper and blend further.
