🌿 Nutrition Notes
Warming, nourishing, delicious and a breeze to make, this curry a favourite recipe at iWellness . An ideal Autumn-Winter meal, high in protein, fibre, vitamins, with an Indian flavour profile. Works on all iWellenss programmes.
Ingredients
Grass Fed Organic Lamb Mince, (Lidl)
Passata ½ jar to cover
Tomatoes
Red peppers or similar
6 Cloves of Garlic, sliced or minced
Stock
Good quality dry seasoning and spice
I used (to personal taste)
Ginger Powder
Chili Powder
Chatt Masala
Garam Masala
A little stock
Method
Heat oven to 180C and cook as per instructions, or set a slow cooker to 4/5 hours
Brown meat and onions, no need to add fat. Add all other ingredients, stir. Simmer gently for half an hour. Longer to develop the taste if you have time. Add fresh herbs such as Coriander before serving with your choice of side. A real winter warmer which can be batch cooked to freeze. Go lighter on the spice and adapt to your taste.

* This recipe also works well with other proteins such as chickpeas, chicken
and white fish loins. Can be batch cooked.
