A thyroid loving spread for chocolate lovers! Rich in vitamin E, Magnesium, and a touch of Selenium. Selenium is an essential mineral and supports thyroid health. Low Magnesium shows up in tiredness and cramps so increasing Magnesium is a good idea... it can also help with blood sugar support.
Ingredients
1 cup Hazelnuts (soaked overnight, then roasted)
2 tbsp Raw cacao powder
1–2 tbsp Coconut oil
1 tbsp Maple syrup (or 1 soft date if tolerated)
½ tsp Vanilla extract
Pinch of sea salt
Method
Blend hazelnuts in a food processor until they turn into butter (5–8 minutes). Add remaining ingredients and blend until smooth. Store in a glass jar in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
